It's GOOD!!

semi-overcast 0 °F

Being a huge New Jersey Nets fan I have been to quite a few games before but nothing compared to last night. I could not believe my eyes! I didn't think that the Nets could have done it but Devin Harris came through at the buzzer to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 98 - 96. Half court buzzer beater ... something you hear about every once in a while but I was there to witness it all! The atmosphere that the Izod Center brings every game especially when Vince Carter steps on the court is unbelievable but I have to say this again the final shot had the arena roaring in screams! Take a look at the video to see the unforgettable shot! Btw... I have tickets for tomorrow nights game against the Chicago Bulls (hope it's just as exciting!)

The Meadowlands Liberty Region

semi-overcast 0 °F

Before I tell the tale of my journey to the Meadowlands in New Jersey I thought I would start this blog with a little background information about what the Meadowlands has to offer. The Meadowlands is an experience unlike anything else. It is located only a few minutes from the Lincoln Tunnel which makes transportation to New York City unbelievably easy. You can experience New Jersey's finest outlet mall shopping or catch a New York Giants/Jets or New Jersey Nets game. Dinning is exquisite and there are plenty of accommodating hotels if you are looking to make it an overnight stay. Transportation is made easy since the Meadowlands area is only 15 miles from the Newark Liberty International Airport. The area is also very populated with wildlife and is the second largest bird sanctuary in the eastern seaboard.

Overall, the Meadowlands Liberty Region is an experience unlike anything else. The amount of options are endless with something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
